We also recommend professional cleaning once a year. General Care Tips

1. Avoid Extreme Conditions

Keep your accessories away from extreme temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight as these conditions can impact the materials and integrity of your items.

2. Gentle Handling

Handle your watches, sunglasses, and handbags with clean, dry hands to prevent transfer of oils and sweat into the product. Avoid rough or abrupt movements as these can result in scratches, dents, and more.

3. Storage Considerations

Store your items in protective cases or pouches to shield them from dust, scratches, and potential damage. Watches and sunglasses should be stored away from direct sunlight in their protective bag or box.

Specific Care Instructions

A. Watches

1. Water-Resistance

Check the water-resistance level of your watch and adhere to the guidelines if you will be in deeper waters. Avoid exposing water-resistant watches to hot water, as extreme temperatures can compromise their seals.

2. Battery Care

If your watch has a battery, replace it according to the manufacturer’s recommendations to prevent leakage and potential damage to the timepiece.

B. Sunglasses

1. Cleaning

We recommend using a microfiber cloth, or the dedicated cloth that comes with your sunglasses. Avoid the use of paper towels, your shirt, or other abrasive surfaces as it may scratch the lenses.

2. Storage

Keep your sunglasses in its protective case when not in use. If there is no protective case, avoid storing them face down to prevent scratches on the lenses.

C. Leather Handbags

1. Cleaning

Due to the nature of leather, you can easily clean stains by wiping with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild leather cleaner, gently wipe with water and let air dry.

2. Conditioning

Applying a leather conditioner periodically will help to keep the leather supple and moisturized, reducing cracks and tears.

3. Storage

We always recommend keeping your handbag in its dedicated dust bag to avoid it collecting dirt and dust. Avoid direct sunlight with leather as it may change the color of the handbag. Avoid storing the bag in a box as it prevents the leather from “breathing” which may cause it to dry, turn brittle, and crack.

D. Velvet Handbags

1. Brushing

Use a soft brush that does not leave fibers to gently brush the velvet fabric. Avoid hair brushes or brushes that leave fibers as it may get caught on the velvet and get stuck on it. Avoid pressure on the velvet as anything that is pressed against it may flatten the material or create dents.

2. Spot Cleaning

For stains on velvet, use a damp-almost dry cloth with mild detergent, as velvet is sensitive to water. Blot the wet stain gently with a dry cloth and let it air dry naturally.

3. Storage

We always recommend keeping your handbag in its dedicated dust bag to avoid it collecting dirt and dust. Avoid direct sunlight with velvet as it may change the velvet color of the handbag.

E. Fabric/Canvas Handbags

1. Spot Cleaning

Using mild soap and a damp cloth, gently rub the spot to lift off the stain from the handbag. Use a dry cloth afterwards to blot away the water and let it air dry naturally.

2. Stain Prevention

Consider a fabric/canvas protector such as ones that prevent water from seeping into the fabric. We always recommend testing new products in an inconspicuous spot so as not to damage the handbag.

3. Storage

We always recommend keeping your handbag in its dedicated dust bag to avoid it collecting dirt and dust. Avoid direct sunlight as it may change the fabric color of the handbag.

We hope that by following our recommendations, your treasured pieces will be preserved and protected for years to come! As always, we recommend a professional cleaning service at least once a year to assess the product. Our experienced staff can guide you through the care of your product so it may stand the test of time.
